It is a great pleasure to welcome you to a very exciting trip to Chile and the River Rio Puelo in March 2025. We have good, experienced guides who know the river and the area after many years of guiding, and together we will set up a high-quality fishing programme. Our favourite lodge serves brilliant food and wine in beautiful surroundings. Magnificent in every way.
Tuna on the fly is raw fishing that really puts the equipment to the test.
It will also be possible to go down to the fjord to fish for Tuna between 6 and 10 kilos. On a single-handed fly rod and floating line. This is also very exciting, and reports tell of brilliant fishing for strong Tuna hunting herring on the surface.

Arrival at lodge 16 March 2025
Departure from lodge 23 March 2025.
Number of nights at lodge: 7.
Number of fishing days: 6.
Stay in single room with full board.
Fishing is arranged with 2 fishers per 1 boat/guide.
2instincts tour leader and guide will be Helge Vetås.
Price for lodge stay as mentioned above is USD 4980. Including fishing licence for the region.

Not included in the price is return airfare from home to lodge.
Tip for guide.
Travel route. We will set up a travel route that suits you and your needs and wishes. There are two alternatives we can recommend based on previous trips to Puerto Montt.
Alternative 1 is to fly to Buenos Aires in Argentina and have one overnight stay there before flying on to Santiago in Chile. Change planes in Santiago and fly on to Puerto Montt the same day. Puerto Montt is our pick-up destination, and we drive by car/guide approximately 2 hours to the lodge from the airport. This is a beautiful drive where you can see exciting and lovely nature.
Alternative 2 is to fly directly to Santiago in Chile and onwards to Puerto Montt the same day, then continue as described above with pick-up at the airport in Puerto Montt.
