Yours truly was in Scotland last week, fishing for salmon on Thurso for a few days. There, the #8 rod was used a lot. The same was true for 2instincts team member Thomas from Oslo. He landed his first Thurso springer on his new N2 rod in #8. It became a fantastic fight that I know Thomas will remember for a long time. Below is a picture of a happy Thomas with his first Thurso salmon.
