Above / below: Snekkerbrakken's specialities were very well received this year too.
Many thanks to everyone who joined our traditional film evening in Bergen. This year too, Snekkerbrakken was the venue for the gathering, and what a gathering it became. Fantastic atmosphere, and one story after another outdid the next, creating laughter throughout the room that could probably be heard all the way out at Skolten. Great stuff.
Also a big thank you to the team at Snekkerbrakken, who once again delivered in every way. It is very enjoyable to hold such evenings with you, and we will gladly return. The food was brilliant as usual, Ariba :-)
Although some technical problems beforehand added extra excitement to the whole thing for yours truly, I am very grateful for the good response to the somewhat reduced presentation that was shown. You are all absolutely fantastic, and thank you very much.
Since the beginning, 2instincts has named THE 2INSTINCTS FISHER OF THE YEAR, every year.
This year the award went to Roald Meyer from Bergen, Norway. We congratulate him once again and hope this gives extra inspiration going forward. It is not long until the next cast will be made. My goodness, how exciting it will be.
I must also thank everyone who made use of our good offers that evening. I hope it gives next season an extra dimension.
And especially all of you who pre-ordered our new N2 rods. We are convinced you will be extremely satisfied, as these new rods set a completely new standard in the Premium Plus class. Many believe we have developed the world's best fly rods in their class/length, and that is incredibly good to hear for us at 2instincts. Thank you for the trust. This gives us a solid boost to continue developing even more models in the N2 series.
Below is a picture of this year's 2instincts fisher, Roald Meyer. The picture is from Gloppen this year, slightly blurred, but that is how it can be in the heat of the moment. The fish was also one of many fine sea trout Roald landed during his days in Gloppen this year.
Finally, we would like to mention that the encouragement to hold a new film evening early in spring 2023 has been noted. We will try to make that happen, so keep an eye on our website under latest news.
There will also be information there about our new trips to Argentina and Golden Dorado fishing, which was one of the topics at this film evening at Snekkerbrakken. A picture report from this trip will come soon under latest news.
Best regards
Helge Vetås
