HNN Blue 10 and 8

"I've experienced many times that salmon take after a plane has come out of the main current and into calmer water close to shore. Then the fish often fly from behind. In my experience, a long body that is almost as long as the wing hooks better. I've experienced many times that salmon are careful in such situations and only nibble a little on the wing without being hooked if the hook is placed just behind the head/under the wing. With a long body and hook placement at the very back of the tube fly, this works very well and more fish are hooked properly. HNN blue 10 cm and 8 cm tube bodies also have a conehead for good balance. The length and size of the fly have proved very good in conditions with good water flow.

If you fly fish for sea trout in high water conditions or at night, these flies are very effective and hook very well, especially with a double tube hook pointing upwards.
